The historic centre of  Prague is easily accessible from Hotel Royal Prague by public transport. You can take the yellow metro line B  from Křižíkova station and get off at Náměstí Republiky station. Alternatively, you take use tram number 8, which has a stop near the metro station. The journey time is about 6 minutes and the cost of a single ticket is 30 CZK.

Discover the lovely Karlin district

Hotel Royal Prague is located in the Karlin district. Once an industrial area, Karlin was recently renovated and transformed into a lively residential and commercial district, with a wide range of restaurants, bars, shops and green spaces. The heart of the district is Karlinske Namesti Square, Karlin’s central square surrounded by historic buildings and the modern Church of St. Cyril and Methodius. Among Karlin’s main attractions are the Karlin Theatre, which hosts music and theatre performances, and the beautiful Vitkov Park. Vitkov is the second largest park in Prague and offers panoramic views of the city with a large green area for relaxing and doing outdoor activities.  Karlin is an interesting area to visit for exploring the modern side of Prague, offering visitors an authentic experience of local life in the city.
